Description
Protein p311 (PTZ17 or neuronal protein 3.1), a 8-kDa polypeptide, is highly expressed in invasive glioma cells. Decreased phosphorylation of P311 is observed in migration-activated glioma cells. Protein P311 is also involved in smooth muscle myogenesis.
