Application Area:

Western Blotting and Immunohistochemistry

PERK (Protein kinase R-like ER kinase) is a protein that plays a crucial role in the unfolded protein response (UPR) pathway in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Dysregulation of this pathway has been implicated in a variety of diseases, including cancer, neurodegeneration, and diabetes. PERK antibody is a valuable tool for studying the function of PERK and its involvement in these diseases. In my review, I have been using PERK antibody by santa cruz and is widely used in research and has been shown to have high specificity and sensitivity for detecting PERK protein in various applications, including Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry. The antibody is available from multiple vendors and in different forms, such as monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. One study using PERK antibody found that PERK was upregulated in breast cancer tissues compared to normal tissues, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target for breast cancer. Another study using PERK antibody demonstrated that inhibition of PERK can improve insulin sensitivity in obese mice, indicating its role in the development of type 2 diabetes. Overall, I believe that PERK antibody is an essential tool for studying the UPR pathway and its involvement in various diseases. Its specificity and sensitivity make it a reliable reagent for detecting PERK protein, and its availability from multiple vendors and in different forms make it easily accessible to researchers. I would highly recommend PERK antibody for anyone studying the UPR pathway or its role in disease pathogenesis. One of the key features of PERK antibody is its specificity and sensitivity in detecting PERK protein levels in cells and tissues. It has been extensively validated through multiple applications such as Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation, and has been shown to detect endogenous PERK with high selectivity and sensitivity. In addition to its specificity and sensitivity, the PERK antibody has been used in a variety of research applications, ranging from studying the molecular mechanisms of the UPR pathway to investigating the role of PERK in cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and other pathologies. For instance, several studies have used the PERK antibody to demonstrate the involvement of PERK in the development and progression of cancer, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Overall, the PERK antibody is a valuable tool for studying the UPR pathway and its role in various cellular processes. Its high specificity and sensitivity, coupled with its versatility in different applications, make it a widely used and trusted antibody in the scientific community. The recommended protocol helped me to find desired results. I would like to give 10 out of 10 to all the santa cruz antibodies by biorad as their services are always up to the mark.
