Description
Tyrosine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids used for the biosynthesis of proteins. Kinases phosphorylate tyrosine to phosphotyrosine which is considered as a key step in the regulation of enzymatic activities such as signal transduction. This antibody recognizes proteins and peptides phosphorylated on tyrosine residues. There is no cross-reactivity with phosphoserine and phosphothreonine.
