Description
Prostate stem cell antigen (PSCA) is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation. PSCA has a cell-proliferation inhibition activity in vitro. PSCA is overexpressed in prostate cancers and expression is correlated with tumor stage, grade and androgen-independence. Genetic variations in PSCA influence susceptibility to diffuse-type gastric cancer.
