Description
Rabbit anti Human ATG1 antibody recognises Human Serine/threonine-protein kinase ULK1, also known as Autophagy-related protein 1 homolog, ATG1 or Unc-51-like kinase 1. ATG1 is a 1050 amino acid ~115 kDa, ubiquitously expressed cytoplasmic protein belonging to the serine/threonine protein kinase family.ATG1 is an autophagy related protein which is required for the formation of autophagosomes. ATG1 is the the target of the TOR kinase signalling pathway regulating autophagy and forms a complex with ATG13 and RB1CC1.ATG1 is strongly expressed in a wide range of adult tissues including heart, lung, kidney, brain, liver, pancreatic tissue and skeletal muscle.
