Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to ROR gamma T whose expression can be detected in the heart but it is highly expressive in the brain and atria. It is found in the nuclear body. It is a negative regulator of adipocyte differentiation through the regulation of early phase gene expression; such as MMP3 and controls adipogenesis as well as adipocyte size and modulates insulin sensitivity in obesity. This protein is extensively considered to have intrinsic transcriptional activity along with some natural ligands like oxysterols that act as agonists (25-hydroxycholesterol) or inverse agonists (7-oxygenated sterols); enhancing or repressing the transcriptional activity respectively.
