Description
Protein S100-P (S100-P) is a calcium binding protein that is up-regulated in various pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas and pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasias. Experimental evidence suggests that S100 –P interacts with its targets after a Ca2+ -dependent conformational change which involves hydrophobic residues of the C-terminal extension.
