Description

Spiramycin in an antibiotic most commonly used to treat toxoplasmosis, a parasitic disease caused by the protozoan Toxoplasma gondii in felines. Spiramycin is effective against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting protein synthesis in the bacterial cell wall during translocation.
