Description
T-box protein 2 (TBX2) is involved in the transcriptional regulation of genes required for mesoderm differentiation. TBX2 plays a role in limb pattern formation. TBX2 is expressed primarily in adult kidney, lung, and placenta, with weak expression in heart and ovary.
