Description
Zinc finger protein 268 (ZNF268) is a protein that belongs to the EGR family of C2H2-type zinc-finger proteins. ZNF268 functions as a transcriptional regulator. ZNF268 activates genes that are required for differentiation and mitogenesis. Studies suggest that ZNF268 is a tumor suppressor gene.
