Visualization and Characterization of Autophagosomes in Neuronal Cells Using Enhanced Imaging Techniques

7 Sept 2014

The ImageXpress® Micro XLS system makes it possible to study a large number of treatments with replicates, since it enables acquisition of high resolution, high magnification images to be acquired at multiple fluorescent wavelengths from cell-based assays run in 384 well microplates. This poster presents autophagy experiments using human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived human neurons or PC-12 cells. Results demonstrate the utility of the system and user-customizable analysis to rapidly test for multiple cell toxicity events in each well of a 384-well plate.
