Alpha Innotech Releases Alphaview® Version 2.0 Enabling Vista Compatibility for Fluorchem and Alphaimager Products

Alpha Innotech Corp., a leading provider of gel imaging systems for life science research, announces that AlphaView® Image Capture and Analysis software is now fully compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit Operating System. AlphaView 2.0, which is compatible with both Windows® XP and Vista 32-bit, will begin shipping with all gel imaging systems that currently utilize AlphaView during December of this year.

AlphaView was released in August of 2007 and is the image analysis program for all gel imaging systems from Alpha Innotech Corp. AlphaView is designed to meet the requirements for image analysis in molecular biology labs, including colony counting scripts and analysis tools for calculating band concentrations and molecular weights, and for determining macroarray intensities. AlphaView software has the ability to view multiple images simultaneously, synchronize zooming and panning of multiple images, and save the analysis data generated within the software.

AlphaView 2.0 for Windows Vista and Windows XP is currently available for purchase through the Alpha Innotech website.
