Bio-Rad Introduces ProteOn XPR36 Protein Interaction Array System

Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc., a multinational manufacturer and distributor of life science research products and clinical diagnostics today announced the availability of the ProteOn™ XPR36 Protein Interaction Array System.

Based on SPR (surface plasmon resonance) technology, the new instrument bridges the gap between protein discovery and function, providing the ability to understand protein interactions with the efficiency, flexibility, and versatility of parallel processing.

The ProteOn XPR36 Protein Interaction Array System is an SPR imaging optical biosensor that uses image analysis to simultaneously track optical changes at many different sites in an image (array) with high sensitivity and without the need for molecular labeling. With a dynamic and unique approach to multiplexing, the ProteOn XPR36 provides researchers the ability to run more experiments in a shorter period of time.
