Chromatography & Spectrometry Information to go...

27 Sept 2006

In today’s world of ever increasing time pressures, regulation, and the increasingly complex array of instrumentation, providing analysts with the correct level of training is ever more challenging for lab managers.

Crawford Scientific together with Paisley University has produced an online interactive E-Learning tool that provides the right learning in Chromatography and Spectrometry at the right time and in the right place!

The Electronic Analytical Reference Library (Earl) is a comprehensive database of short modules covering a diverse range of chromatography and spectrometry topics including HPLC, GC and LC-MS. These lessons can be used by both experienced and inexperienced analysts as refresher or induction training and each unit is accompanied by a short self-test from which a certificate of competence can be printed for training records.

Modules can be combined into more comprehensive courses which are accredited and are accompanied with an-online tutor to provide support and guidance. These courses form a perfect induction for those new to the techniques and provide a comprehensive learning program for topics in separation science.

Together with Crawford Scientific’s on and off-site training courses, EARL is a great way to use and retain the knowledge attained during formal training sessions and being online gives great flexibility for the busy analyst to get ‘Information to go………’
