Scientific software company Dotmatics is pleased to announce that Addex Pharmaceuticals SA (Addex) has licensed the Dotmatics web-based browser & gateway suites to facilitate information access and project management. The solution will be used by Addex to query, browse, analyse and share key drug discovery information across research programs and project teams.

Dotmatics’ browser & gateway solutions offer the following advantages:

  • The use of a true zero-client web based approach is compatible with our clients’ service oriented architecture approach to enable real-time access to information and additionally reduces any IT support overhead.
  • The ability to integrate with pre-existing informatics tools (based on legacy informatics platforms) such as ELN, chemical & biological databases and inventory management.
  • The easy-to-use interface allows scientists to make the most of the powerful querying, visualisation and analysis capabilities of the tools, with minimal training.

Eric Gaillard, head of IT at Addex said: “The research process at Addex is dynamic, involving multiple internal and external groups. Part of my mission is to deliver on-demand real-time access to the latest incoming research information to managers. The Dotmatics gateway and browser complement our core research informatics framework and enable me to achieve this level of service.”

Steve Gallagher, CEO of Dotmatics said: “We are excited to have the opportunity to work with Addex Pharmaceuticals and look forward to a fruitful collaboration.”
