The Eppendorf Research plus sets a new standard in high-precision pipetting, displaying superb ergonomics, exceptional versatility and unrivalled durability. Manufactured using the most advanced materials and production processes, the Eppendorf Research plus weighs only 71–75 g, compared with up to 125 g for conventional pipettes.

Every detail of the Research plus has been designed to provide outstanding ease of use, in accordance with the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®. As well as being extremely lightweight – 75 g or less – risk of RSI is further reduced by the lowest aspirating, dispensing, blow-out and tip ejection forces of any pipette on the market. The spring-loaded tip cone, fast volume adjustment and optimised position and shape of the control buttons and four-digit display make for stress-free workflow and intuitive usage.

Winner of an internationally renowned red dot design award, the Research plus is based on Eppendorf’s innovative PerfectPiston™ system, made from Fortron®. This organic polymer is highly resistant to heat, acids and alkalis, mildew, bleaches, aging, sunlight and abrasion. It absorbs only small amounts of solvents and resists dyeing. The result is a pipette which is safe, robust and fully autoclavable, with no need to recalibrate or re-grease afterwards.

For complete versatility the Eppendorf Research plus is available in a choice of single channel, multi-channel and fixed-volume options in different sizes. It is also simple and quick to calibrate the pipette to handle a dense liquid, such as glycerin, and then re-calibrate back to a normal setting. Features such as the minimal parts design, quick connection clip and individual channel removal on multi-channels facilitate easy maintenance and reduce lifetime service costs.
