Fortis Technologies to Present New 1.7um UHPLC Columns

Fortis Technologies will showcase new 1.7um UHPLC columns at ASMS 2010 and discuss this new solution in UHPLC column technology. Unique silica technology allied with its new 1.7um particles for use in UHPLC will all be on show at ASMS.

The unique ability of this silica phase to operate at high pH as well as low and mid pH allows the analyst to simplify method development by using one silica C18 stationary phase to do all hydrophobic compounds, solutions for polar analytes and alternate selectivity are also available.

MS detection will benefit from the use of small particles, high efficiency, increased sensitivity, high peak capacity all in short run times, allowing the effective use of the MS detection capabilities.
