HORIBA Invites Point-of-Care Testing Discussion at Pulse Live 2014
28 Apr 2014HORIBA UK Ltd, Medical Division, specialists in automated in vitro diagnostic systems for hematology and clinical chemistry analysis, will be exhibiting at the Pulse Live 2014 event taking place at the Novotel Hammersmith London from 29-30th April. During this 2 day event for GPs and Practice Managers, HORIBA will be dedicating its resources to identifying key clinical testing requirements within primary care.
Known for its ability to deliver innovative diagnostics testing solutions that meet specific requirements, HORIBA is looking to assess the key needs for point-of-care hematology and clinical chemistry analysis. By speaking with industry leaders at the event, HORIBA aims to help streamline clinical processes, providing valuable information at the point-of-care. As such, quicker and more accurate medical decisions can be made which will ultimately reduce costs and improve patient pathways.
One such product, the Microsemi CRP point-of-care hematology analyzer will be available for delegates to see on the HORIBA stand. This compact, easy-to-use analyzer simultaneously provides a complete blood count (CBC) and C-reactive protein (CRP) from just 18 μL of blood, in only 4 minutes. This combined analysis enables screening to detect the presence of inflammation, immediately after the blood is collected, making it ideal for the assessment of critical patients.
“We see PULSE LIVE 2014 as an ideal opportunity for our hematology and clinical chemistry testing specialists to meet GPs and Practice Managers and discuss their specific diagnostic testing needs and how we could help them,” said Mandy Campbell, Medical Product Manager, HORIBA UK Ltd. “We look forward to hearing their thoughts.”
The Pulse Live event will also provide GPs with opportunities to hone their skills in practice business and finance, find out the latest in key clinical topics and share best practice across a variety of issues.
