Introducing strata-™XL and strata-™XL-C: New Polymeric Solid Phase Extraction Sorbents for Viscous Samples

Phenomenex has just released strata -XL and strata-XL-C, 2 large particle 100 µm polymeric sorbents that offer following:

• 100 µm particles allows efficient processing of viscous samples under slight vacuum conditions and the processing of human biofluids under gravity flow conditions
• Unique property of the polymeric surface of strata-XL and strata-XL-C is that it remains “conditioned”, even if the sorbents accidentally run dry during the extraction, ensuring high and reproducible recoveries from extraction to extraction
• Targeted selectivity: strata-XL, reversed phase sorbent for neutral compounds and strata-XL-C mixed mode strong cation exchange sorbent for basic compounds

strata-XL and strata-XL- C are available in and 1,3 and 6mL tubes for traditional screening 96 well plate formats for high throughput extractions and Giga™ tubes (12, 20,and 60mL) for large volume extractions.
