JASCO will be exhibiting its supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) system at the 1st International Conference on SFC to be held on September 23–25, 2007 at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The two day conference will offer both an exhibition and a scientific program, including vendor workshops and poster presentations. There will be numerous discussions on recent developments in SFC technology as well as new applications.

JASCO will present a poster session on Sunday, September 23, from 6:30–7:30 pm, Advantages of Circular Dichroism (CD) Detection for the Determination of Fractionation Timing in Preparative Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (Prep-SFC) for Chiral Separations, presented by Takeshi Kanomata. In addition, JASCO will host a vendor workshop on Monday, September 23, from 12:45–1:10 pm, Chiral Separation by Preparative Supercritical Fluid Chromatography using a Circular Dichroism Detector, presented by Craig Silverman.

In 2008, JASCO celebrates its 50th anniversary as a manufacturer of high-quality analytical instruments, which includes both spectroscopy and chromatography products. JASCO boasts a full line of SFC/SFE systems incorporating a unique, patented, back-pressure regulator. The JASCO line includes analytical, semi-preparative and preparative scale systems, as well as supercritical fluid extraction systems. JASCO is the only manufacturer that offers a CD detector that integrates with their HPLC and SFC products.
