Markes Presents on TD–GC×GC–TOF MS at the 38th ISCC & 11th GC×GC Symposium in Riva del Garda, Italy
18 May 2014Markes International will highlight exciting advances being made in thermal desorption (TD) and GC–TOF MS technology for various applications at the 38th ISCC & 11th GC×GC Symposium at the Congress Centre in the beautiful surroundings of Riva Del Garda, Italy between 18 and 23 May 2014.
This conference is widely regarded as the premier forum on capillary chromatography and micro-column separation techniques, and Markes will be exhibiting some of its most recent technical innovations at Stand 11. Key new developments include productivity-enhancements to its world-leading range of thermal desorption instrumentation and the much-discussed Select-eV variable-energy electron ionisation technology for its BenchTOF range of time-of-flight mass spectrometers for GC.
The company will present a short seminar on “A New Dimension in Benchtop GC-MS” featuring two presentations: “Select-eV: Increasing dimensionality of GC×GC–TOF MS” by Dr Laura McGregor and “Enhanced aroma profiling of wine by GC–TOF MS” by Dr Luca Calamai of the Centre of Mass Spectrometry (CISM) of the University of Florence, Italy.
In addition, Markes is proud to be presenting three posters:
• Comprehensive material emissions profiling by TD–GC×GC–TOF MS
• Select-eV: Increasing Dimensionality in GC×GC–TOF MS
• Enhanced Screening of Environmental Pollutants in Complex Matrices by GC×GC–TOF MS with variable-energy electron ionisation
