MO BIO Announce New LifeGuard Soil Stabilization Solution

MO BIO Laboratories Inc, has just released a new product, LifeGuard Soil Preservation Solution, for microbial RNA stabilization in soil samples upon collection. LifeGuard solution will enable researchers to collect soil samples in remote locations without RNA degradation or changes in transcript levels during transport to the laboratory for microbial community analysis and metagenomics.

LifeGuard Soil Preservation Solution is the first product optimized specifically to protect microbial RNA in soil and sediment samples. Virtually all research on environmental samples involves sample collection in locations that are far from a laboratory. Without special handling, the RNA levels in these samples will be altered during transport resulting in unreliable data. LifeGuard Solution puts microbes into stasis immediately upon contact and keeps the sample stable at ambient temperature during transport, resulting in reliable data and enabling the analysis of microbial interactions via RNA.
