Applied Biosystems/MDS Analytical Technologies released DiscoveryQuant™ 2.0 Software, the latest version of software designed specifically for early-ADME workflows in a drug discovery environment. New enhancements improve throughput and efficiency. These include quick review screens for optimizations and assay results and the ability to manage the entire workflow, from compound optimization through to concentration calculations in one discovery package. The software is intended to improve the ability of pharmaceutical companies to determine drug candidates’ viability early in the development pipeline.

The new software version also allows for multi-lab, multi-site connectivity, allowing for a globally connected discovery environment for higher productivity and efficiency. Global database support allows compounds optimized in one lab to be used at another lab without re-optimizing. Multiply-injected assay support enables maximum autosampler speed.

DiscoveryQuant software now comes in two modules: Optimize and Analyze Modules, allowing work to be performed in parallel on multiple mass spectrometers. This software is compatible with Applied Biosystems/MDS Analytical Technologies’ LC/MS/MS systems.

Applied Biosystems is a global leader in providing innovative instrument systems to accelerate academic and clinical research, drug discovery and development, pathogen detection and forensic DNA analysis.
