Phenomenex Introduce New “Wall Art” SPE Method Development Posters
11 Mar 2013Phenomenex Inc., a global leader in the research and manufacture of advanced technologies for the separation sciences, announces a new program to replace traditional method development posters that adorn laboratory walls throughout the world. Distributed as a helpful tool by many manufacturers, these posters offered a starting point for researchers but added to lab clutter. Phenomenex's new "wall art" pieces, offered in a choice of six colorful themes, direct researchers to a unique web-based tool where they can develop a customized solid phase extraction (SPE) method in less than one minute. From pet-lover and psychedelic to Chinese New Year themes, customers can request their own version of wall art at www.phenomenex.com/SmallandMighty.
"There's no longer any reason to keep big, boring method development posters handy," explains Erica Pike, brand manager for Phenomenex. "Users can accomplish much more in less time with our web tool, and our new 'small and mighty' wall art pieces direct them there. Recommendations are provided for sample pretreatment, methods are automatically adjusted for different sample sizes and information can be saved for future use or sharing. None of these features can be delivered with a traditional poster."
The Phenomenex SPE Method Development Tool develops methods across a variety of sample matrices and compounds, enabling users to improve analyte concentration and detector response. The researcher enters the name of the analytical target or selects "proprietary" to develop a method based on the chemical characteristics of the analyte.
