Porvair Filtration Group has announced that it will be showcasing its extensive range of microfiltration products at Drinktec 2013 in Munich from 16th-20th September.

At the show Porvair will officially launch Stabifil™, a novel polyphenol removal product for beer and wine stabilization. Stabifil uses Porvair’s proprietary and patented technology of co-sintering Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVPP) powder with Vyon® to effect product exposure to PVPP at high flow rates with low contact time in a sanitary and highly efficient manner. Manufactured into cartridges and disc assemblies, this new product can be regenerated many times in-situ with no loss in performance.

Stabifil offers numerous advantages in comparison to a loose powder/bed including simple installation, low capital costs, fast flow rates, optimized contact between the adsorbent and polyphenols as well as no loss of loose PVPP powder which may create maintenance as well as health and safety issues.

Also on display will be Porvair's high performance range of standard and junior style filters alongside a variety of beers, wines, soft drinks and waters all of which have been processed through Porvair filters. Come and visit Porvair Filtration Group at Drinktec Stand 541, in Hall A3, where you can see the product range and try some of the beverages processed by them.

Porvair Filtration Group is a leading manufacturer of high-quality polymeric and metallic cartridge filters and cartridge membrane filters. The global drinks market is supported by Porvair’s extensive distributor network, many of whom are experts in the field of food and beverages.
