Say ‘Hello’ to MixMate – Eppendorf’s new mixer for small volumes

For researchers wanting to perform fast, quiet and perfectly controlled 2-dimensional mixing of tubes and plates without cross-contamination or spillage – the perfect tool is now available.

MixMate from Eppendorf sets new standards in sample preparation, optimising mixing parameters and combining a plate and tube mixer with integrated 3,500 rpm vortex function in a stylish, compact design.

MixMate effectively mixes and vortexes very small volumes of aqueous solutions and suspensions in PCR plates (skirted, semi-skirted, or unskirted), deepwell plates and MTPs up to 96- and 384-well formats, as well as all standard micro test tubes. With its 2DMix-Control technology Eppendorf has perfected the interaction of speed, orbit movement and mixing radius parameters. MixMate’s pre-programmed soft keys allow the user to select the optimal parameters for various plate and tube formats, while adjustable mixing speed, automatic imbalance detection and extremely quiet operation enhance usability.
