Tecan, one of the world’s leading players in laboratory automation in the growing life sciences industry, will be demonstrating a range of its latest products for genomics, proteomics, drug discovery and clinical diagnostic applications at the LabAutomation 2009 Exhibition in Palm Springs, California, on January 25-27, 2009, at booth # 205.

Visitors will be able to witness four Freedom EVO® liquid handling platforms at the booth, differently configured to demonstrate their flexibility to suit various applications. The workstations will feature the latest version of the Freedom EVOware®, the intuitive, easy-to-use software that has been designed to maximize the performance of the Freedom EVO series of workstations. Integrated with robotic manipulator and liquid handling arms, 8 Plus 1 Access™ pipetting arm, 384 MultiChannel Arm™, and modules for extraction and incubation, these systems demonstrate yet again the evolutionary concept of the Freedom EVO series. Also demonstrated on the stand will be REMP’s Small Size Store™ (SSS), combined with one of the Freedom EVO liquid handling workstations to create a fully automated sample storage and retrieval system, suitable for any sized laboratory.

As the newest representative of Tecan’s broad portfolio of detection systems, you will see the Infinite™ M1000 microplate reader and the HydroFlex™ 3-in-1 microplate washer. A full selection of Tecan Cavro® OEM components, including the new Cavro Omni Robot and Cavro Centris Pump, will also be displayed at the Tecan booth.
