SelectScience.net, the leading online resource for applied chemists, clinical chemists and life scientists, has announced the winners of the Scientists' Choice Awards for Best New Life Science and General Laboratory products of 2007. The winners include the StepOne™ Real-Time PCR System from Applied Biosystems and the Milli-Q® Integral Water Purification System from Millipore Corporation.

Best New General Laboratory Product in 2007
Winner: Milli-Q® Integral Water Purification System, Millipore Corporation
Runner-up: Biohit Proline® Plus Mechanical Pipettors, Biohit

The Scientists' Choice Award winners were decided by Life Science and General Laboratory community members, with over 300 scientists participating in voting. The awards were announced and presented to the winning companies at Analytica 2008, during a special awards ceremony at the SelectScience 10 year anniversary party.
