Simple Chromatographic Protein Purification Using JASCO’s LC-2000 Protein System

The JASCO LC-2000 Protein Systems are designed for routine chromatographic purifications. Compared to other systems, JASCO features ease of use, dependability, a small footprint (six inches of bench space) and low cost.

The LC-2000 Protein System utilizes two HPLC pumps, each capable of 20mls/min flow rate, a manual injector with 2ml loop, and a UV-2077detector capable of monitoring up to three wavelengths and one ratio signal trace. A strip recorder is used for chromatographic analysis.

The LC-2000 Protein System-S replaces the strip chart recorder with JASCO’s ChromNav software and a PC. This allows the user to accurately determine the concentration of buffer or organic solvent when compound(s) of interest elute from the column. In many applications this eliminates the need for a conductivity detector, saving money and simplifying the system.

Both software and a fraction collector can be added with free installation. JASCO’s HPLC components are recognized throughout the industry for exceptional durability, reproducibility and longevity.
