Spectographic Pure Graphite—Analysis Crucibles and Analysis Electrodes
3 Sept 2007Spectographic Pure Graphite (SPG) series materials are a type of extruded graphite. These materials are further purified so they have low impurities. Due to this high purity, they are suitable to be used for spectographic analysis.
These are typical properties for two grades of graphite:
BGWI-SPG 01
Bulk density 1.6 g per cm3
Specific resistance 10 μΩ.m
Porosity 25%
Compressive strength 35 MPa
Ash content 10 ppm
BGWI-SPG 02
Bulk density 1.7 g per cm3
Specific resistance 8 μΩ.m
Porosity 21%
Compressive strength 35 MPa
Ash content 10 ppm
Typical applications for graphite products are Spectographic Analysis Electrodes and Spectographic Analysis Crucibles. Crucibles are produced to fit the oxygen and nitrogen analyzer and hydrogen decider products of the major models. Also, crucibles are produced to specification according to customers' drawings or samples.
