This year, the Eppendorf Stem Cell Community Day will be held on April 24, 2018, at the Radisson BLU Scandinavia Hotel, Dusseldorf, Germany. The Stem Cell Community Day connects researchers from all over the world to discuss recent advances in the stem cells field, with a special focus on controlled cultivation in bioreactors.

Stem cell-based technologies lay the basis for pioneering approaches in regenerative medicine, drug screening, and toxicology testing. Therefore, their commercial use requires reliable methods for the large-scale production of stem cells in a consistent quality. The Stem Cell Community Day aims to bring together experts from both academia and industry, to discuss the challenges, achievements, and changes in stem cell bioprocessing for research and commercial manufacturing.

Registration is now open for the event and can be found here >>

This year, Prof. Joaquim M. S. Cabral of the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal will chair the event, with the following confirmed speakers:

  • Dr. Karen Coopman | Loughborough University, UK
