Tosoh Bioscience LLC, a provider of chromatographic solutions for the separation of biomolecules, announced today the introduction of CaPure-HA, a hydroxyapatite chromatography resin developed for the purification of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, the separation of antibody isoforms, isozymes, and the purification of antibody fragments. This resin is now available for sale in the Americas from Tosoh Bioscience.

CaPure-HA chromatography media from Tosoh Bioscience meets the growing demand for resins with better selectivity, resolution and capacity to address the marked proliferation in dimer and other higher order aggregates associated with increased upstream feedstock titers. CaPure-HA resin exhibits dynamic binding capacities of greater than 30 g/L at residence times as low as 2 minutes and greater than 50 g/L at residence times of 5 minutes for human IgGs.

According to Chris Manzari, Marketing Manager for process chromatography media at Tosoh Bioscience LLC” We are very pleased to announce that CaPure-HA is available for order today, providing the combination of exceptional separation properties and unequalled selectivity and resolution for multiple classes of biomolecules. The highly selective and robust nature of CaPure-HA gives chromatographers the flexibility to use this resin at any stage in a process from capture to final polishing”.
