TrakCel forms strategic partnership with BarTender to integrate advanced labeling solution within its second-generation cellular orchestration platform

TrakCel has announced a license partnership with BarTender^® by Seagull Scientific. TrakCel will integrate the BarTender barcode and labeling solution within OCELLOS by TrakCel, its second-generation cellular orchestration solution.

OCELLOS by TrakCel has been developed for cell and gene therapy manufacturers and is the first cellular orchestration solution powered by Salesforce and available on AppExchange. Its modular framework and powerful Integration Hub facilitate the end-to-end journeys of advanced therapies in both clinical trial and commercial settings.

This key integration with BarTender features label reconciliation to enable healthcare providers and other participants along the patient journey to compliantly track and trace each label that is printed, automating the creation, management, and reconciliation of labels.

The integration of BarTender will support the current push for label standardization across the cell and gene therapy industry. The Standards Coordinating Body (SCB), a public-private partnership for coordinating, prioritizing, and supporting standards that advance process, measurement, and analytical techniques supporting the global availability of products across the cell and gene therapy industry, has identified advanced therapy labeling as a specific issue of concern. TrakCel is a contributing member of the SCB and also works in close coordination with the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM). TrakCel’s dedication to the cell and gene therapy industry and its push for standardization fueled the decision to partner with BarTender. This partnership will ensure that TrakCel provides a commercially available, industry standard solution designed to facilitate and meet international regulatory labeling standards.
