Waters and DANI Instruments Announce Integrated and Compatible Network
15 Mar 2013Waters Corporation and DANI Instruments today announced that Waters® Empower® Chromatography Data Software now provides control for DANI Headspace and Gas Chromatography instruments. Through this partnership, customers will now be able to take advantage of the full potential of both companies.
Empower Software enables laboratory-based organizations to protect their original instrument investment by controlling a vast range of chromatographic modules, connecting them to arguably the most powerful data management system and reporting tool in the industry. For scientists who use these systems, it is far easier and preferable to master one data management tool versus multiple software packages. For these organizations, implementation of a single solution for instrument control and documentation has many compelling benefits, including lower maintenance, training, and validation costs. DANI now joins the many vendor systems controlled by Empower Software.
According to Umberto Saini Fasanotti, President at DANI Instruments, “The cooperation between DANI and Waters will provide Empower Software users with access to the unmatched productivity and reliability of a multitude of DANI products, including the best-in-class HS-GC System. For example, this configuration is the ideal solution for the challenging analysis of residual solvents in pharmaceuticals, in compliance with USP <467>.”
Waters is committed to working closely with companies, such as DANI, to ensure support of the newest firmware for analytical instruments. Our quality management approach and testing regimens for new instrument control drivers and software features ensure our customers success and optimize the software system support provided.
For over 25 years, Waters has provided the analytical world with networked data solutions. Today, over 250,000 chromatographers are using Empower or Millennium® Software, connecting and controlling their MS, IC, GC, SFC, CE, LC and UPLC modules.
