Especially due to the tremendously good cost-benefit-ratio the tubes can be used to store various liquids, solutions and microbiological substances and cultures. The temperature stability of the tubes is very good, storage at -20°C absolutely no problem.

50 ml Centrifuge Tubes have been well established for multiple laboratory applications. To accommodate increasingly sophisticated user requirements, various product details have been optimized as follows:
- Exceptionally clear polypropylene (PP) allows for unrestricted inspection of the sample material
- Printed graduation and writing space
- Dark blue graduation for easy handling of transparent liquids
- Graduation and writing space resistant to ethanol and methanol
- Centrifugation up to 15,500 x g (with flat base up to 10,000 x g)
- Certified sterile, non-pyrogenic / endotoxin-free, non-cytotoxic, DNA-, DNase- and RNase-free
