The 889 IC Sample Center is a robust autosampler for high sample throughput.
Optimized for the challenges of modern analytical labs, it uses the x-y-z principle and a high-resolution dosing for excellent sample introduction. A double needle system allows the use of vials with caps or septa. A PEEK-injector completes the automation system of the 889 IC Sample Center.
Taking less than 10 seconds from the start of a determination to the injection, the 889 IC Sample Center is record-breaking. This reduces the time required for the injection between the analyses to a minimum. A high sample throughput is guaranteed.
The 889 IC Sample Center is characterized by its versatility in respect to different injection procedures e.g. full-loop, partial-loop and pick-up-mode. All three modes support the Pressure-Assisted Sample Aspiration (PASA™). The headspace pressure eases the sample introduction especially for viscous samples. The variability of the sample volume also demonstrates the 889 IC Sample Center's flexibility.
The scope of delivery comprises two 48 position racks for 300 µL and 700 µL sample vials. These may be used for injection volumes of 1 to 100 µL (in 1 µL increments). Besides these Standard racks other sample racks for any type of HPLC vials as well as microtiter plates of the SBS standard may be used on the 889 IC Sample Center. Racks with 12 to 384 sample positions will also be supported. The sample volume ranges from 1 µL up to 10 mL. The choice is yours.
