This is actually one of our newest pieces of equipment in the laboratory. It provides us very accurate and precise results for mineral analysis of food, cosmetics, even medicines and water. Plus, Shimadzu brand of equipment has a proven track record with our lab in terms of durability and long-lasting use of equipment. Our last AAS too, was also Shimadzu with more than 13 years of operation before we replaced it yet, it still functions exactly the same as the new ones!

It accurately helps us to analyze different matrices of samples such as premixes, soluble powders, supplements and feeds. Also, we are able to measure ppt levels of heavy metals in cosmetics and wellness products such as shampoo and soap. Love it!

The optical double-beam photometric system is automatically set for flame measurements, and the high-throughput, single-beam photometric system is automatically set for furnace measurements. With a new graphite furnace design, the AA-7000 Series has achieved improved lower limits of detection for furnace analysis in all fields, as compared to Shimadzu’s previous series designs.
The AA-7000 has the smallest footprint of any flame or furnace AA spectrophotometer on the market, combining flame and furnace system mounts in the same compartment. In addition, the series gives users a single high-performance autosampler for both flame and furnace, saving capital cost and set-up time, and features a number of safety features.
