Easy to use and little to no maintenance. I have been using this instrument since 2018 and no major problems occurred during that time until now. Its function helps us determine if the unit will be no good for transfusion service/blood bank to use. I am not sure if there are more instrument like this in the market, but I do know that this one takes the cookie. Fast, reliable, compact, lightweight and easy to use. Would definitely recommend to anyone rather than using a flow cytometry for residual wbc count because it is highly more practical.

Blood bank red cell and platelet rWBC testing
The Adam-rWBC2 is our second model we have purchased. TheAdam-rWBC2 is one hundred times better than the first model in speed alone. We can efficiently test many samples quickly. We have not had any issues with the machine. We participate quarterly in CAP testing and have had very accurate results. There is no calibrations which is nice and NanoEnTek schedules the PM annually. It is a truly easy to use, low maintenance, and fast results machine.

Analysis of residual WBCs in blood products
We use our ADAM-rWBC2 for all of our monthly testing for residual WBC counting for quality control. The instrument is easy to use, and takes less about 5 minutes from incubation to result of each sample. It's easy to calibrate and requires very little maintenance. Most of the maintenance is performed by NanoEntek field service technicians, who are always very polite and very knowledgeable. We get a lot of use out of our ADAM, and the lab techs love how quick the testing is. It definitely is a big time saver, and we have no problems with ours at all.
