Our Malvern Panalytical Aeris Research X-ray diffractometer operates in a teaching and research environment. It is safe and easy enough for students to use so that we can focus on the results, not the process, and yet the data are high enough quality that there is no practical difference with a full-size diffractometer. Our Panalytical Aeris Research XRD recently passed its 1,000th measurement in our teaching and research laboratory. Since installation, more and more Honours and Ph.D. students, and academics are using XRD in their research.

Great instrument, software and customer service.
Material analysis
Has good intensity for XRD scan, good software package, good customer service. There is a problem with the arm loading the sample, sometime it's frozen but they have good customer service and the problem is solved remotely in a couple of hours. I do really like their product and I will purchase my next XRD machine from them.

Great reproducible results
Formulation samples of co-crystals and co-precipitates
It's sophisticated and easy to handle, operate and clean. It's less space consuming and is elegant in construction. Very useful instrument for research as well as manufacturing purposes. It's a very effective instrument, providing robust results with utmost accuracy.

Commercial lab
Great machine that produces accurate and reproducible results. The Aeris can produce high-resolution results in a short amount of time. It will work great for most applications. Overall, the Aeris is easy to use. However there are some minor issues with the machine that affect its reliability and Malvern Panalytical has been slow to act on concerns we have shared with them.
