The Agilent 1200 Infinity Universal Interface Box II is a multipurpose accessory for the Agilent 1200 Infinity and the Agilent Infinity II LC Series that extends instrument communication capability to high quality analog and digital output and input. It provides a general LC connection interface for additional detection modules, sensors (for example, pH, temperature, or leak sensors), and other accessory equipment.

The 1200 Infinity Universal Interface Box II is integrated via the RC.net LC driver, which allows additional HPLC detectors, modules, and accessories to be operated through the chromatography data system (CDS).

- Small footprint analog-to-digital converter
- High-end analog-to-digital conversion (24 bit ADC) equipped with a CAN bus for high-speed data transfer to the main HPLC system
- Effective system resolution of +/- 1 μV (rms)
- General LC connection interface for sensors (for example, pH, temperature, or leak sensors), triggers, and small controllers
- Analog output allows Agilent module signals to feed to third-party systems
- General purpose input/output GPIO/ERI interface for digital mass-based fraction triggering and general purpose
- 5 or 24 V output
- Four timetable programmable relay contacts for control of external devices through close/open commands (external contacts board)
- External leak sensor with separate input line for improved lab safety
