Anti-SARS-CoV-2 N-Protein Aptamer
Frequently referred to as "synthetic antibodies", aptamers are single stranded DNA molecules which can specifically recognize and bind to the targeted protein.

Recommended Applications:
ELISA. Recommended dilution: 1:1000. This aptamer has been validated by direct ELISA and also confirmed to pair with 130-10785.
Preparation:
Aptamer selection was done against recombinant SARS-CoV-2 protein. Before use, incubate the aptamer at 95°C for 15 minutes before removing from heat and allowing to cool to room temperature. Avoid multiple foldings by calculating the required amount of aptamer and folding the volume needed in a separate tube.
Dilution Instructions
Determine the amount of aptamer required for your experiment and aliquot into a new Eppendorf tube. Note: the recommended starting dilution is 1:1000, although the researcher is advised to optimize for their assay.
Calculate the final volume of the solution to be used and mix the aptamer with 1/10th volume of the 10x folding buffer. Mix well and bring up to the final volume with diH2O.
Heat the aptamer at 95°C for 15 minutes before removing and allowing to come to room temperature. If other buffers are desired to be used, fold the aptamer with only the 10x buffer added.
The once cooled, the aptamer can be added to the desired buffer.
Stability & StorageShipping:
Ambient
Storage/Stability:
The aptamer maybe stored for 1 month at 4°C and may be prepared up to 1 week before use if stored at 4°C. For long term storage (up to 1 year), store at -20°C to -70°C. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
