Flow cytometry
Excellent and very easy to use sorter. Lower capabilities than more complex systems, can still be personalized with different laser and detector layouts. While the Melody is not ultra-reliable in day to day use, it can be used with very good results for a number of sorting applications even by inexperienced users. Recommended.

Flow cytometry analysis and cell sorting
The instrument is so easy to use given that sorting is a very involved task. It is designed to be quite automated with minimum user interference. The instrument is easy to run and to maintain and if there is any issue the technicians are there to help. They provide a great amount of help by phone and remotely so you do not wait for a visit. The price is reasonable given that cell sorting is quite expensive in any shared facility.

The instrument is easy to start, set up and is very stable. We had a few issues to start with due to the hood not being sturdy enough, but now it is perfect.
