Application Area:

Measure the Kd

I have used BI SPR 4500 to measure the Kd binding affinity between my protein and ligands. The instrument is really easy to use. The software comes with it is user-friendly. Also, the machine helps me to produce the same result all the time I repeat the experiment. The background is low and that allows me to have a good binding response after subtracting the background. The machine has five channels so you can choose the best channel after analyzing data. Also, you can run each channel separately so you can run many ligands as you want or you can immobile different proteins in each channel and then flow your ligands to all channels. The company provides different kinds of chip sensors so you can choose the one that is suitable for your immobilized strategy. I would recommend this machine to any users.
