The tips are great for protein and DNA/RNA work as well. I have even used these tips with viscous reagents and observed how easy it is for solution to come out without much getting left behind.

Bacterial growth and enzymatic assays
This is a great product. Not only does it cost significantly less than typical Rainin, there was so loss of performance whatsoever. In fact, the tips performed better with some viscous solutions, such as loading buffer used in SDS-PAGE gel prep. As the purchaser for my lab, my contact Jason Barus was helpful, informative and not pushy at all.

Reloads are easy. The tips are as effective as the RAININ brand we currently use. The reload method does not result in lost racks of tips and they are more economical. They also appear to be more hydrophobic, resulting in complete dispense of solutions.

Innovative Features:
Ergonomics:
- FlexFit sealing technology is a set of alternating thick and thin ribs at the proximal end of the tip. This helps to increase flexibility and allow the tip to easily conform to the shape of the pipette barrel. The instant seal created with FlexFit decreases the force during insertion and ejection helping reduce the risk of repetitive stress injuries (RSI).
- StarStop is a positive stop feature built into the tip which interacts with the barrel of an LTS pipette. This feature guarantees that the ejection force will stay low independent of how hard you put on the tip.
Accuracy and Precision:
- X-Resin is our proprietary low retention resin that maximizes sample recovery. The low binding characteristics in the tip helps to improve accuracy and precision in your experiment by ensuring a full dispense.
- Blade is the patented design at the end of the tip that helps increase your precision. The wall thickness is much smaller than the end of generic tips which causes less sample binding and reduces hanging droplet formation during dispense.
