The BOD incubator enables BOD testing and provides the necessary temperature for the development of microorganisms. Either the Peltier element or the refrigeration principle can be used to cool the incubator. The incubation chamber's heating and cooling are controlled by a microprocessor-based circuit. The proportional-integral-derivative (PID) principle serves as the foundation for the controller.
