I was using a hemocytometer, the Cellometer has greatly increased my productivity and the quality of my data. I also work with multicellular spheroids and most cell counters do not have the capabilities to count these larger structures. The cellometer provides counting and a mean diameter. It would be nice if the Cellometer could count at concentrations <10^4, as some of my applications requires this.

The Cellometer Auto 1000 offers an all-in-one automated cell counter with an integrated 10.4" touchscreen computer, with bright field imaging for cultured cell lines and purified primary samples. The Cellometer software captures and analyzes images in less than 30 seconds to provide count, concentration and Trypan Blue viability measurements. Data and images are auto-saved and can be auto-printed.
