Best centrifuge for work in the middle of the scary night
Everywhere for every method that includes centrifugation steps
This is the best (micro-)centrifuge that I recently purchased. Handling is easy and also faster with control knobs than with just buttons to select rpm. The best thing is actually it's low volume when centrifugating. Especially, when you are alone in the lab in the middle of the night and everything is scary, the centrifuge does not produce any loud noises when in use!

This unique rotor offers a solution for a common problem when working with MiniPrep spin column kits: open tube lids that shear off during the elution step. This problem traditionally occurs because standard rotors do not provide enough support for open tube lids during centrifugation. The Eppendorf Kit rotor is designed with an extended rim that serves as a rest for tube caps during centrifugation and protects them from shearing off. Your tube lids will not tear off anymore.
