The Chlorine Injector Station (CIS) is used in automated watering systems for laboratory animals and is a panel-mounted assembly that adds chlorine to water used for Recoil Hose Flush Stations (RHFS), Reverse Osmosis Systems, and other applications which have a stable water flow. This station is also suitable for acidification applications.
The CIS has a solution tank, injector pump, mixing chamber, control panel, and other components which inject a chlorine solution into water as it flows through the station. A selector switch disables the pump for plain water flow.
It is adaptable to a range of flow rates, but there must be a stable flow for each application set-up. The concentration of solution in the water is adjustable via pump settings.
The CIS is available as a stand-alone station (Model 301), as a special station (Model 302) to be used only with the Edstrom Automatic RHFS (Model 5480), and as a special station (Model 901) to be used with a Reverse Osmosis Machine.
