The CUY21 EDIT is designed to deliver up to 99 square wave pulses between 1V and 500V. Most in vivo experiments require the application of pulses under 100V to help preserve tissue integrity; for some electroporators, it can be challenging to hold such low voltages accurately with a perfect square waveform. This isn't the case for the CUY21 EDIT--and it’s the primary reason that this system has been used in over five hundred published research articles.
