Our lab uses molecular tools to investigate the immune responses to environmental stressors in bighorn sheep, grizzly bears, polar bears, penguins, sea otters, etc. We are often working in remote locations without access to liquid nitrogen or ultracold freezers. Without these tubes, we would not be able to do the work we do. It's critical to our analyses to have high-quality RNA that is stabilized immediately.
